Veterans Day is a special time to honor and thank those who have served our country. Orange County offers a variety of events and ceremonies to commemorate this important day. Join us as we explore some of the heartwarming events happening around the county.


Anaheim

Veterans from all branches of the military are honored in Anaheim on a special Veterans Day celebration hosted by the City of Anaheim.

When: Monday Nov 11, 11am - 12pm

Where: 241 S. Anaheim Blvd.

Time: 11am


Brea

Join the Brea community as we pay tribute to all military heroes, including veterans, active duty and those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country.

Please plan to arrive early, as seating and parking are limited.

When: Monday Nov 11, 10-11am

Costa Mesa

Open to the public, the ceremony will include the unveiling of a new plaque honoring our fallen heroes and veterans who served post-9/11. The event will also include a performance by All-American Boys Chorus, veteran service organization booths, kids’ activities and food.

Free event in partnership with Heroes Hall Veterans Foundation.

When: Saturday, Nov. 9, noon  – 3 p.m.

Dana Point

Presented by the Dana Point Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9934, Ladies Auxiliary, and the City of Dana Point. This service recognizes all Veterans for their service an sacrifice for America.

Each year the City of HuntingtonBeach is proud to honor our Veterans both past & present, with a special ceremony on November 11 at 11am at Pier Plaza. American Legion Post 133 will lead the program with a special guest speaker.

The City of Irvine hosts a special ceremony in the Formal Garden at Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park to pay tribute to our nation’s troops — past and present.

Join us for a heartfelt community gathering to honor and thank our local veterans and their families for their service. This special event, organized by Lion’s Heart Group 2025, will include a ceremony starting at 10:30 a.m. featuring a keynote speaker.

A ceremony open to the public will be hosted at the Sea Country Senior and Community Center honoring all those who have served. Ceremony includes Boy Scout Color Guard, Special Guest speaker Richard M. King, and recognition of Veterans in attendance.

Rancho Santa Margarita

The City's Veterans Day Recognition is a tradition that is looked forward to by many each year. Residents are invited to attend a reception at 6:00 p.m. at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center and enjoy light refreshments, then join us for the formal recognition at the City Council Meeting that begins at 7:00 p.m.

We invite you to join us in honoring the men and women of our community for their military service.
